Weekend Coffee Share is a time for us to take a break out of our lives and enjoy some time catching up with friends (old and new)!
Grab a cup of coffee and share with us! What’s been going on in your life? What are your weekend plans? Is there a topic you’ve just been ruminating on that you want to talk about?
It’s still Friday, and I said that I’d have this up at some point on Fridays! Just, over 12 hours later than my normal time-frame, that’s all…..
Life is going to start easing up a bit after this weekend. Tomorrow is my last day at my internship (though I am planning to continue doing a couple of hours a week volunteering with them still on small projects). I’m rolling along with classes, which so far haven’t been too overwhelming (although I have to work on remembering that just because I’m ahead of a deadline on a project doesn’t mean I can just sit back and do nothing until the next deadline approaches… there are still more assignments to be done!)
The weather has been starting to cool off a bit, so I’m looking forward to having a little more free time on the weekends to get some work done on the Catio. I’ve gathered some fun supplies through my Buy Nothing group and have a few ideas on expanding it a little bit and making some fun changes to it. I hope Monster likes what I do with it!
I also want to do some work on the Little Free Library, it’s starting to show some wear now that it’s a year old, and the middle door got off-kilter during a storm early in the year and has been out-of-order for most of this year. I think some painting, a little work on the doors, and I can at least have it up and a bit more operational before we get too far into the fall.

This is so awesome! I imagine volunteering at a library is very rewarding. We have the most beautiful library in our little town. I really enjoy visiting. Thank you for the coffee!

We are going to try and have a quiet, relaxed weekend – difficult to do with all of the turmoil around us…and will be watching a Chadwick Boseman film to honor his life…I shared his films on the coffee share!

I’ve been eating fruits in season, mostly, thank you for asking. Lol. I commend you for finishing your internship as well as doing those projects. It’s nice to help out and still learn at the same time. I hope you also get a weekend time for yourself. The little library sounds like a good idea.
