Weekend Coffee Share is a time for us to take a break out of our lives and enjoy some time catching up with friends (old and new)!
Grab a cup of coffee and share with us! What’s been going on in your life? What are your weekend plans? Is there a topic you’ve just been ruminating on that you want to talk about?

This weekend it’s ALL YARN. Yup, time for my annual participation in the Rose City Yarn Crawl. I do feel a little guilty, if I’m being honest, to be taking the weekend away from work that needs to be done. And I’m sure I’ll be doing some work before, after, and maybe in down-time during (because I don’t intend to spend a lot at the stores this year, and see myself perhaps hanging out outside them at times while my friends are still shopping). But, my primary focus will be hanging out with my friends and having fun looking at the pretty yarn.
School has been keeping me busy, so I haven’t had nearly the same amount of time to complete my crochet-along shawl as I normally do. I’ve managed to make it about half-way at this point. I’m not sure that I’ll be able to finish it (since it remains low on my priorities list, it would be awesome to have it done but there is no penalty if I don’t). I’m full-on into group work at the moment, which is always an experience…. Hopefully it will ultimately be a good one.
Last weekends Leap Day Feast was AMAZING. I shared some pictures on Instagram, it was fun to see folks again (though I didn’t get to visit with them as much as I would like). The dresses were beautiful, I’m always in awe of the handiwork of others – one of these days I hope to have time to work on refining my sewing skills.
What are you up to this weekend? Any exciting plans?
The Kelly Clarkson Show has a wall of yarn that replicates the show’s logo – and people attending can get photos in front of it! Kelly is an avid knitter and loves to talk about crafting as well!

I opened a new tarot office in Kingston, NY (near Woodstock) this month, and have been remiss in working on the book, which I have mentioned here in the past. Life is busy, but I am trying to check in to blogs now and again. The Leap Day Feast seems very fun–good for you!
