#WeekendCoffeeShare – Another Weekend…

Weekend Coffee Share is a time for us to take a break out of our lives and enjoy some time catching up with friends (old and new)!
Grab a cup of coffee and share with us! What’s been going on in your life? What are your weekend plans? Is there a topic you’ve just been ruminating on that you want to talk about?
All are welcome! Just add your link to the Linky-List, and be sure to visit others and join in their conversations! The link will be open from Friday February 22nd at 7am (Pacific Time) until Monday February 25th at 7am (Pacific Time) to give us a good range of “weekend”!

If you are unable to post your site into the link-up for any reason feel free to drop it into the comments and I will do my best to add you to the linkup!

How are we already at the end of February? Time really does just kind of run by, doesn’t it?
This weekend I have two different game groups (both D&D, thankfully both online groups so I don’t have to go out. It’s a little more relaxing that way for me), and am going out Friday night with a friend for dinner with her family and then a paint-night. It should be fun! I really like the picture we’re supposed to be painting, Haystack Rock at sunset — if mine turns out well I’ll be sure to share it! I’m also hoping to get at least one of my crochet projects done this weekend — the shawl for the Rose City Yarn Crawl is SO CLOSE to being done, and I want time to be able to block it before we get to that weekend!
My plans last weekend to do some reflection fell apart… but I spent that time sleeping instead, which was also a much needed thing. One of the things I have been thinking about some is an article I read about the push to turn hobbies into money-making opportunities (https://www.manrepeller.com/2019/02/trap-of-turning-hobbies-into-hustles.html#disqus_thread). This is definitely something I’ve seen in play, and I wonder about my own movement in that direction on some things. It’s an interesting thing to think about, and the whole hustle-culture that’s developed.
Not a lot to say about it, just been thinking about it some.
What are you up to this weekend? What’ve you been thinking about lately?
