Weekend Coffee Share: Christmas Weekend!

If we were having coffee I’d invite you to join me by the Christmas Tree.  We like to decorate in my house – so there are actually two trees in public spaces (and two of us have decorated trees in our bedrooms), plus the Christmas Village, and the decorations in the windows, and the lights outside.  Some years we’re able to get more up than others, but I think we did pretty good this year.

It spans multiple levels of furniture-tops, includes two ponds, hills, lots of trees, animals, and a variety of lights!

I’d be very excited to tell you the news – if you hadn’t connected with me on Facebook or somewhere else yet.  I’m going to be an Aunt!  My little sister and her husband are expecting!  The due date is this summer, and the little-one seems to be pretty active in the womb… I can’t wait to meet this new addition to the family – we’re all very excited.  Though I’m one of five, and we’re all over 30, this is the first niece/nephew. I’m so looking forward to being the best aunt I can be for this kiddo!

There’s been a lot happening in my mind lately – over the week I’ve had the idea’s of a few different blog-posts or articles that I’d like to write. Unfortunately, when I finally had the chance to sit down and write them I found my mind going blank. Hopefully some of them will come back to me quickly because I’d really like to write them. It was strange to realize yesterday that I only have any days in my four-day weekend where I don’t have to leave the house at some point – which will mean trying to make the most of my time that I do have. I have a goal, in the new year, to really make the most of my time for maximum productivity — hopefully I’ll be able to find a good way to put the plans in place.

I got this new calendar yesterday – I’d customized it through Agendio – and am so excited that I was able to make it to be something that is unique to me. It seems like it will really help me to stay on top of all the things that I want to get done this year (and let me tell you, it’s a pretty big list).

Well, I know it’s Christmas Eve, and some of you probably have a pretty busy day ahead of you.  I’m doing a reading at the Christmas Eve service at my mom’s church tonight, so I need to make sure I’m solid on that. How has your week been? Are you looking forward to this weekend?

Happy Holidays!
