I’m back! At least, partially… more on that later.
How about a little three things that made me smile to kick off the month?
Midnight’s been a real handful but an adorable one 🙂 He’s been trying to help me with my writing.
I managed to find a taste of Maine in my freezer aisle here in Oregon! I enjoyed it while remembering some of my favorite summer activities in Maine.
I’ve been getting to spend a faithful amount of time with my two favorite hooligans – my adopted-nieces are pretty awesome kiddos!
What are you grateful for as we step away from summer?

I am finding my way on the meandering, twisting path of life, constantly surprised by what’s around the next bend. Working to embrace and face the challenges inherent with following your dreams, and writing the journey. A writer and dreamer, historian and theologian, academic and fantasy-world-creator, genealogist and gluten-free baker, crafter and reader, poet and life-long learner, MLIS student constantly questioning and occasionally irreverent.
Eclectic Alli is my personal blog, with reflections on writing, life, theology, history, or whatever may catch my thoughts.
Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook and Instagram round out my online presence, and I try to do little bits different with each of them.

He’s been fluctuating between being adorable and photographic and being crazy-busy. So.. basically… all is normal.
