If We Were Having Coffee…. March 26, 2016

If we were having coffee I’d have had to reschedule us to a later point in the day.  I ended up spending this morning at urgent care — yesterday my foot started to hurt, then last night it ratcheted itself up on the pain scale a bunch.  So this morning I called the nurses line and they agreed with my assessment that I should head to urgent-care when they opened.

So Urgent Care it was this morning, with the end result of a boot to wear a while and a referral to the fracture clinic. It might be a fractured sesamoid bone, but we’ll see after they take a look at it.

This kind of threw my day off so I’m trying to just recover and figure out what else I need to do today and how to get it done.  High on my list is to square away some thing for my Jamberry work and to get more of my A to Z posts queued up!  I’m excited about A to Z this year, I’ve got a lot of great guest posts and I think the Eclectic Express is going for a great journey!

How are you doing?  What’s your week been like?

Today’s post is a part of the Weekend Coffee Share, graciously hosted by Part Time Monster every weekend. A time for us to come together, share a cup of coffee (or our beverage of choice) to share some of what is going on in our lives.  It’s a lovely check-in!

    1. It looks a lot less comfortable than it is — I only need it for walking and it does really help for that — but when I’m just sitting around I will sometimes take it off… but I find that the pressure it puts on the area surrounding the potential fracture (without putting pressure on the potential fracture point itself) DOES help a bit.
