#DeDoWriMo – Day 1

Time to start writing!!

I’m aiming for 50,000 words this month — given my drop-out of NaNoWriMo last month.

In addition to the 50k words this month I also aim to write something every day – organizing my plans for 2016 both in my fiction and in my blogging.

What writing goals are you setting for the month?

(It’s not too late to sign up either!  If you want to join please, toss your hat into the ring!)

  1. I haven’t figured out my exact goal for the month. If I set it at “finish the draft” I expect I will be disappointed. ^^; I could probably get another 50k words though…

  2. My goal is to finish the novel I started for NaNo. I’ve never failed to finish the novel before (been NaNoing since 2011) so it really stings that I failed this time. I’m probably about halfway done, and since I’ll be out of class for the second half of December, I should be able to finish it.

    I hope.

    1. I wish I could figure out some wording to refer to incomplete NaNo’s other than “failing.” I’ve Won some years, and spectacularly NOT-won some other years, but I don’t like to think of those years as failing since I usually end up with something good out of it even if I don’t meet the word count!
Being out of class can be helpful for word-counts… unless you get out and hit brain-fry mode…

What do you think?
