Today is Celebrate the Small Things Friday. Hosted by Lexa Cain, L.G. Keltner of Writing Off the Edge, and Tonja Drecker of Kidbits, Celebrate the Small Things is a time when we all take a moment to celebrate something good from our week. It can be small, it can be big, just something to look back on the week and celebrate!
I missed last week! But this week I celebrate the arrival of fall – the colors of the leaves are so pretty, and I really adore the crunching noise when I walk through the piles 🙂

I am finding my way on the meandering, twisting path of life, constantly surprised by what’s around the next bend. Working to embrace and face the challenges inherent with following your dreams, and writing the journey. A writer and dreamer, historian and theologian, academic and fantasy-world-creator, genealogist and gluten-free baker, crafter and reader, poet and life-long learner, MLIS student constantly questioning and occasionally irreverent.
Eclectic Alli is my personal blog, with reflections on writing, life, theology, history, or whatever may catch my thoughts.
Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook and Instagram round out my online presence, and I try to do little bits different with each of them.

I love love love it! I do miss the New England Foliage (got so spoiled living in Vermont and Maine) but we’re getting a decent amount out here in Oregon this year 🙂

as much as I enjoy the colours – I can’t get over the fact that the flip-flops needed to be put away till next year, some time in May I’d guess… 😦

Eh, I like being able to wear my sandals, but I also like not having to shave my legs because of long skirts, leggings and boots that fall/winter bring. *Lazy-mornings-gal*

This week I celebrate that I didn’t have to buy a new monitor when the old one went out. I was gifted one. Then I didn’t have to buy a new stick blender because someone gave me one! Yay! New stuff and I didn’t have to pay for it!
