Celebrate Transitions!

Today is Celebrate the Small Things Friday.  Hosted by Lexa Cain, L.G. Keltner of Writing Off the Edge, and Tonja Drecker of Kidbits, Celebrate the Small Things is a time when we all take a moment to celebrate something good from our week.  It can be small, it can be big, just something to look back on the week and celebrate!

Today I celebrate all the people who spent the last week moving and settling into new places!  Friends and family have all found their ways to new homes – including the awesome Sabina (whose awesome road-trip to her new place has been chronicled on Instagram), and the most excellent Hannah (who is particularly celebrating the acquisition of a toothbrush to replace the one that got lost… as she reminded me, it really is the small things!)

I am celebrating new projects being started, and new endeavors begun!  The promise of upcoming new programs starting over on Nerd In the Brain

And I celebrate the start of new school years for many friends and friend’s children, and the shifts and changes that many are going through.

So much to celebrate, and I celebrate that I have friends who are happy to share their celebrations with me 🙂

What are you celebrating?

  1. Wow, that’s a lot to celebrate! Moving can be really stressful. I’m glad your friends are dealing with it well. Yay for new projects and endeavors! Keep us updated. Have a great weekend! 🙂

  2. 🙂 It’s been a pleasantly uneventful week, which is a celebration in itself, considering it was husband’s first back at office work and Little Jedi’s first back at school.
