2015 Reading

2015 Reading Goals:

Goodreads Goal: 50 books

classicsclub1
There is a whole list of classics that I am trying to read in the next five years… hopefully I’ll get some of them read in 2015!
tumblr-15-pledge
I’ve pledged to read at least 15 diverse books this year. Hopefully I’ll get more, but I thought 15 seemed a safe enough number. What constitutes a “Diverse Book” is a pretty broad spectrum, but a good start to that definition comes from the challenge page: “Books where people of color can be first-page HEROES rather than second-class citizens. Books in which LGBTQIA characters can represent social CHANGE rather than social problems. And books where people with disabilities can be just…people.”

Other Reading Challenges I decided to undertake during the year.

Dewey’s 24-hour Readathon.
